Erik Chichester’s artistic career has led him to roles as an animator, motion designer, illustrator, storyboard artist, and educator. Erik has 15+ years of animation experience ranging from television series, games, feature film and commercials. He worked on a films for DreamWorks Animation and at Viacom on television series as an animator for networks such as Nick Jr., and MTV. Erik’s work includes directing several on-air children’s shorts for Nick Jr. and Sesame Street Workshop. He has worked at Kabam Games as an animator and has recently worked as a lead animator and lead character designer at Double Down Interactive.
Erik’s career is grounded in giving back through education. He has had the privilege to teach and create art curriculums for elementary school and college levels. He has taught in the NYC public school system, guest lectured at Pratt Institute, and the School of Visual Arts, and taught animation at Ex’pressions College.
